Fort Smith Schools Join the High Reliability Schools™ Program

As part of its High Reliability Schools (HRS) program, Marzana Resources awards the certifications to help transform schools into institutions that take proactive measures to ensure student success. Educators learn to assess, monitor, and confirm the effectiveness of their schools using a research-based five-level hierarchy, along with leading and lagging indicators. This framework defines five progressive levels of performance that a school must master to become an HRS—where all students learn the content and skills they need for success in college, careers, and beyond. 

Several Fort Smith Public Schools have achieved HRS Level 1. Level 1 certification means that those schools have established a culture that meets the “Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture” criteria. This is the foundation for every level that follows. Congratulations to the following schools for receiving HRS Level 1:
