FSPS announces the return of all Ballman Elementary students and staff to Ballman Elementary on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.  The district thanks everyone for their understanding during this significant renovation.  We believe all of our buildings should be safe and welcoming places and know this major indoor air quality project will create a better learning and working environment for our staff and students. 

Ballman Elementary Principal Nancy Burris said, “We are excited to welcome everyone back to campus and appreciate all the hard work and dedication our staff showed during this transition.  We have enjoyed working with the Fairview staff and cannot thank them enough for their accommodation and hospitality.  I know our students and staff are excited to be in our own space, and we thank the district for helping us create this seamless transition.  We look forward to welcoming everyone back!” 

In August 2023, Ballman Elementary students and staff were temporarily relocated to Fairview Elementary while the Ballman campus underwent renovations. The $2.5M indoor air quality project involved a complete replacement of the school’s Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.
