Dr. Emilee Moss Named Director of Belle Point
Dr. Emilee Moss has been named the new director of Belle Point. Dr. Moss currently serves as an assistant principal at Darby Middle School. Previously, she was a social studies teacher and coach at Darby. Before coming to Fort Smith, she served Wichita High School West in Wichita, Kansas. Dr. Moss also served in the United States Army from 2006-2014. She holds a Doctor of Education from Liberty University.
"I am excited about this new opportunity as the Director of Belle Point. I look forward to being able to serve the staff and students of Belle Point," said Dr. Moss.
Dr. Tony Jones, Director of Secondary Education, said, "The entire time Dr. Moss has worked in Fort Smith Public Schools, she has shown a very positive attitude and has had a solution-driven mindset. These attributes make Dr. Moss a valuable asset for Fort Smith Public Schools, and these characteristics will serve her well as the Belle Point Director. I am excited to work with Dr. Moss in her new role, and I know that the Belle Point students and staff will benefit from her leadership!"
