Our Principal, Dr. King, is joining us this year at Sunnymede as a 27-year veteran of public education, and we are very lucky to have her.

Mrs. Young is our Assistant Principal. She has 21 years of experience in education, working in elementary, middle school, and junior high school buildings. She received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Central Arkansas, her Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, and her Juris Doctorate from the UALR-William H. Bowen School of Law. When asked what she loves most about Sunnymede, Mrs. Young said, "The students and families that we serve are what I love the most! It is such a privilege to serve our school community each day. I love my school family!"
