Dr. Shawn Hinkle, Principal
Dr. Shawn Hinkle has served in the Fort Smith Public Schools for 22 years and is a product of the district, attending Sutton, Kimmons, and graduating from Northside High School in 1995. Dr. Hinkle has previously served as assistant principal at Darby Middle School since 2016. Prior to his role as Darby Assistant Principal, Dr. Hinkle served as math department chair, geometry teacher, Pre-AP Algebra teacher, and head basketball coach at Kimmons. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Master's of Educational Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Math Education, all from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. Dr. Hinkle is a member of Leadership Fort Smith Class of 2022 and is on the Board of Directors at St. James Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Tammy Chase, Assistant Principal
Tammy Chase began serving as the Assistant Principal at Kimmons in 2019. Ms. Chase has served the Fort Smith Public Schools for 13 years as a classroom teacher, facilitator, and assistant principal. Most recently, she served as assistant principal for Fairview Elementary. Ms. Chase earned her BSE and MSE as well as Educational Specialist degrees from Arkansas Tech University. Ms. Chase's ability to be a compassionate and enthusiastic instructional leader and her experience with Professional Learning Communities make her a valuable asset to Kimmons Middle School.
Miss Marian Kursh, Assistant Principal
Marian Kursh has been selected as the assistant principal at Kimmons Middle School beginning the 2022-2023 school year. She has served as a special education teacher and coach in Jacksonville North Pulaski County School District since 2016. Ms. Kursh is a Fort Smith Public School Northside graduate.
