• At Beard Elementary, we are focusing on creating student leaders.  Leaders that are accountable and responsible for their own academic and behavior success. We are a school that sets high expectations and takes pride in providing a quality education for all. Our staff is dedicated to student success and doing what is in the best interest of every child.

     

    • Our school population is 295 students.
    • Our school colors are royal blue and white, and we are the Beard Bears.
    • We currently have 12 classroom teachers, 2 Instructional Interventionists, 1 Instructional Specialist, 1 Counselor, 1 Resource Teacher, 3 Self-Contained Classrooms, and 1.5 Administrators. Specialty area teachers work with our students in Physical Education, Music, Media, and Art on a weekly basis.
    • This school is accredited by the North Central Association and the Arkansas Department of Education.
    • In 2013, Beard Elementary earned the prestigious honor of being named a "Lighthouse School" by Franklin Covey's Leader in Me program. In 2017, Beard also received the Leader in Me Lighthouse recertification. Lighthouse schools serve as models of leadership and mentors for districts around the world.
