During her eleven year tenure as counselor at Chaffin Middle School, she earned National Board Certification in School Counseling and her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.

Mrs. Mankins and her husband have one daughter and two very hyperactive catahoula dogs! Her husband is also an educator, serving as band director. Mrs. Mankins and her husband alike agree that since a person's work fills the largest portion of their life, that to be truly satisfied is to do what they believe is great work. The only way to do great work is do what one loves. Education is that to Mrs. Mankins.

Mrs. Mankins aspires to continue serving the Chaffin school community in the role of Assistant Principal by promoting its positive school culture, strengthening trusting relationships, and maintaining high expectations for student learning. Mrs. Mankins seeks to ensure that every student is provided the opportunity to demonstrate their personal best academically, emotionally, and socially.
