Biography

 After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Mr. Marshell began his teaching career in the fall of 1991 at Butterfield Junior High School in Van Buren, Arkansas.  He taught math there until 1997 at which time he became the Assistant Principal for one year and then promoted to Principal in 1998. Mr. Marshell has earned a Masters in Education in Math Education degree as well as a Education Specialist in Administration degree all from Arkansas Tech University.  Since July of 2007, Mr. Marshell has been Principal at Chaffin Middle School and effectively leading the school to several state and national recognitions for "Best Practices" and high performance test scores on state mandated exams.
