The Eagle Beats is the name of the drum club at Spradling Elementary. 5th and 6th graders have the opportunity to join The Eagle Beats. These students must show commitment to meet each Thursday and to practice on their own time. They play on African-styled drums most of the time and learn in the West African traditions of learning the music through listening instead of reading the music. The Eagle Beats have performed at Rise and Shines and The Christmas Program.
