Orr Elementary School

Greetings from the Principal:  

We strive every day at Orr Elementary School to empower students to reach their individual potential.  We use our knowledge of teaching and learning to give students a strong foundation for future learning.  Student success in school and in life are important to us.  We have high expectations and provide the support needed to help students reach those expectations in the areas of academics, character, and behavior.  It is important for us to form a strong family/school partnership to meet these goals because learning is a life long pursuit that stretches beyond the doors of the school and the school day.  I often say when speaking with families, "You are his/her first and forever teacher."  You were there before your child entered elementary school, and you will be there for your child as he or she advances into middle school, high school, and beyond.  Please feel free to contact me any time you have a concern or if you wish to share something exciting about your child that is going on outside of school.
