Rise and Shine or Glow and Go

Rise and Shine is a celebration held once a month in the morning. If we have to switch the assembly to the afternoon it is called Glow and Go. At this event we celebrate our Students of the Month, Student Birthdays, Classroom Awards, and any exciting events that are coming up throughout the school year. At every Rise and Shine or Glow and Go, a grade level presents the announcements and they give a special presentation based on a topic we think is important to cover for our students. We also have performances from the Eagle Beats and our Dance Team at the end of the assembly.

Student of the Month Lunch

Once a month a student from each classroom is chosen by their teacher to be the Student of the Month. These children are recognized at Rise and Shine or Glow and Go. They also get to eat lunch with the counselor and the principal! One of our partners in education, Williams/Crawford and Associates, donate balloons and candy to the Students of the Month.
