Dennis Siebenmorgen's professional journey highlights a seamless blend of teaching, administrative roles, and transportation expertise. As the Director of Transportation, his multifaceted background equips him with a holistic understanding of the education system and a unique ability to enhance the transportation services within the Fort Smith Public School District.

Mr. Siebenmorgen began his career in education as a teacher of Agriculture and Science at Oark and Paris Public Schools. His passion for fostering student learning and development led him to various teaching positions, where he honed his skills and deepened his commitment to educational excellence.

Transitioning into administrative roles, Siebenmorgen joined the Fort Smith Public School District in 2000 as an Assistant Principal at Darby Junior High. His leadership abilities were soon recognized, and he subsequently served as the Principal at Ramsey Junior High, where he continued to make a positive impact on the school community.

Mr. Siebenmorgen’s hands-on experience in transportation provides him with a unique perspective that enables him to relate to his transportation staff on a personal level. Drawing on his extensive background in education and transportation, he sets clear expectations for drivers and prioritizes student safety. His leadership style emphasizes safety protocols, efficiency, and a collaborative spirit among the transportation team.

Mr. Siebenmorgen holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, a Master's in Educational Leadership, and an Educational Specialist degree.  His combined experience and academic qualifications position him as a well-equipped leader who continues to make significant contributions to student safety. 

Stacy Sangster is the Assistant Director of Transportation for FSPS. He has been an important part of our district for 23 years and was formerly a teacher at Northside High School. 

Prior to joining the Fort Smith School District, Stacy gained valuable experience in sales and management, setting the stage for his current administrative position. These experiences equipped him with valuable administrative skills that have proved instrumental in the effective management of transportation services.

Stacy collaborates with drivers, bus aides, and transportation staff to ensure a safe and reliable means of transportation to and from school —a critical component of the overall educational process. His genuine love for driving a school bus and desire to contribute more significantly to students' journeys led him to the transportation department, where he channels his passion into effective management of transportation services. 

Stacy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arkansas Tech (1988) and pursued further academic excellence with a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State in 2018.

Stacy Sangster’s commitment to student safety, combined with his educational background, makes him a vital asset to the Fort Smith School District.
