• German National Honor Society

    German National Honor Society is a nationally recognized organization for students who excel in academic German classes. Members commit to continuing their study of German and they strive to promote friendship and understanding between themselves and others, especially those in German-speaking countries and cultures.

    Requirements

    • Prospective members must have completed at least 3 semesters of German and be currently enrolled in a German class.
    • To be eligible for induction, students must have completed three (3) semesters of German with a 3.6 grade point average in German and have an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • One-time dues are $25, paid before initiation into the society. This cost is also applied to your honor cord worn at Graduation.
