Each year, counselors meet with students to confirm course selections for the next school year.  

FSPS uses YouScience and Naviance as tools and resources to help students and families make decisions about career pathways.

FSPS students complete YouScience in the 8th grade in Keystone or 9th grade during a core class. 

If you are a FSPS student in the 9th grade or above & you have not taken Youscience, ask your school counselor for information about how to do so.

The Naviance "Self Discovery" tab has similar assessments. However, Naviance is more than self-discovery.  It is the online storage method for the creation and housing of FSPS's student success plans as well as career exploration and guidance, scholarship lists and financial aid information, and much more.

As counselors meet with students to confirm course selections, YouScience and Naviance assist in meaningful and knowledgeable courses within the student success plan.
