Ramsey Science

Ramsey Middle School science students will learn science concepts and skills according to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) as endorsed by the Arkansas State Department of Education. 

Students will gain insight into Science Practices through Gathering, Reasoning, and Communicating.  The following Cross-Cutting Concepts will also support student understanding of scientific phenomena: Patterns, Cause and Effect, Scale Proportion and Quantity, Systems and System Models, Energy and Matter, Structure and Function, and Stability and Change.

All students have the opportunity to participate in the Fort Smith Public School’s STEM competition to demonstrate their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
