Ramsey Orchestra is an organization that teaches string technique, note reading, ear training, and musicianship from 0-3 years experience.
There are currently 5 orchestras which perform 2-4 concerts per year. In addition, there are opportunities for more advanced players to perform in additional venues around town and the state.
The Fort Smith School district proudly provides (at no charge) all orchestra students with an instrument to use year round all the way through high school.
These instruments are checked out to students much like a computer or library book.
Ramsey Orchestra prides itself on earning the highest contest ratings year after year.
