National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society is a national recognition program, sponsored by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, that is found in every state in the U.S. as well as in schools in more than 70 countries.  It is a co-curricular activity that supports the educational goals of the school through promoting high academic standards and the betterment of the individual, school, and community.  Members have the opportunity to be involved in significant learning experiences, especially in the area of service.

Membership in the Ramsey Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is open to all students who have completed three semesters of junior high school (grades 6-8) and have a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average.  Besides scholarship, prospective members must meet the other established criteria of leadership, service, citizenship, and character.

Applications for membership in the Ramsey Chapter will be available at the beginning of the second semester.  An induction ceremony for new members will take place in March.
