Homework
In order for homework to be meaningful and significant in the education of a child, it is imperative that the parent and teacher work together to produce positive results. Homework will be assigned by the teachers to assist the child in improving the skills needed to master the subject matter. Parents are encouraged to maintain contact with the teacher and to assist their child in the learning process. Counselors will, upon request by the parents, obtain pupil progress from teachers when a child appears to be having trouble in a particular class. All grades can be checked in Schoology by parents. Students who are absent have as many days as they are absent to make up their work. Failure to make up work on time may result in zero credit. Parents and teachers, working together, can help make the middle school years a positive experience for all children.
